Based on the novel by Mark McShane and the award-winning screen adaptation by Bryan Forbes, Séance on a Wet Afternoon is a psychological thriller about a medium, Myra Foster, who conspires with her husband to gain fame and fortune by kidnapping a girl and then "finding" her through her séances.

Séance on a Wet Afternoon is the first opera by noted Broadway and film composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz ("Wicked", "Godspell", "Pippin", "Enchanted").

Madeline Marquis

I am Maddy Marquis and I am a young singer. Music is my passion! I don't know how I could or would live without it! I have been involved in many operas and musicals. I have been singing since I was 2 and I've been acting since I was 9. I love being involved in fun groups with my friends. I also love skiing, reading, volleyball, and writing. I am in a family of six and I am the oldest child of four. I was recently in Stephen Schwartz's opera's workshop, A Seance On a Wet Afternoon and I am going to New York to do another workshop with the opera on Nov. 12th. I am very excited and I will post my experience when I get back.
